13 inches average of three spots.I need a shot of bourbon after that,LOL

Was very lucky to get this as CP mentioned just 20 miles north of me was a bust.

23 in here, NW Essex., not bad. A top 10 storm!

I just don't understand how these storms the past years have all taken these S and E trends with these ridiculously sharp cutoffs.Believe me, I am one of the oldest people on this board and have seen a lot more snowstorms of 12 inches plus than anybody here.I will tell you that in the 50's, 60's and 70's when I lived in Fort Lee NJ, a lot further S and E than where I am now, the constant refrain in any big snowstorms from the weather forecasters back then was 'areas north and west of the City will get a lot more snow".Something is going on and maybe one of the experts here can explain to me why these storms constantly favor areas S and E.We can only hope that a monster storm like March 1993 comes up and hugs the coast and blasts us up here. Sorry about today, buddy.
