The Weather Channel  was talking about the upcoming fall weather forecast for now till nov they have us above normal for the temperature with near normal for rainfall

That sounds right as I have been preaching here that the BH and Hotlantic will persist into early mid fall with shots of cold fronts for the seasonal to possibly below normal spats - not long stretches. A protracted period of AN temps overall going forward in the means due to this set up.
