This line that I circled is the more prolific line. Currently extending from Trenton to north-central NJ

I was sitting outside on my steps here in Bloomfield for the last 15 minutes and it was windy with a little drizzle but quiet, and there was a low howl to the west towards Montclair. Saw two bolts of lightning, also to the west.

I've only heard that type of howling wind 3 or 4 times. Last time was sandy. Not quite like a train, but similar.

I'm not one to get to excited by wind and rain but this is the real deal. Unreal out there. Another chapter to a crappy but fascinating winter.

Leave it to Manhattan to find herself in a "dry slot", with the storm to our west literally brushing by us to the NW.
