80* with ridiculous humidity this morning after the .50" of rain last night - 90% humidity my station is reading!! Dew point 80* already, feels horrible outside.

Yesterday at 10am I was at 89 degrees, this morning 82 with a warm breeze. 96 was my max yesterday ! .10 of rain in the 9pm weakening thunderstorm.

Not as hot today, maxed out at 93°. Got .39" of rain from early this morning and this evening's storms. Not as much lightning this evening as in prior events. At 77° now, with a dewpoint of 75°. ICK!

this week looks like we slowly head back towards normal. still hot early this week but not as oppressive. then look for a nice cool down next week.

Best thunderstorm of the summer frequent cloud-to-ground lightning loud thunder lights flickered several times heaviest rain of the year and no warning with this one

This has been an awesome stretch of tstorms here over the past 6 days with torrential rains, winds and ctg that has a been a nature spectacle. I do not remember when we had such a stretch, Mikey??

The heart and heaviest part of that line of thunderstorms seemed to pass right over Mount Vernon. Besides the light show the loudest Thunder I've heard this summer and torrential downpours for about 20 minutes

It was an awesome light show, .34" of rain, some wind but not too bad. Scattered power outages in Bergen County.

Yeah the T'Storm that came through here between 12:45 and 1:15 am was pretty impressive. Lots of thunder and lightning preceded by sone strong wind gusts. All calm now with the Lightning off in the distance to the east.
