Flash freeze everythimg is turn to ice I almost took a spill on the sidewalk. Be careful out there.

Received 1.4 inches of snow in todays squalls the biggest and longest duration between 4 and 5 O'clock. I guess it's mother natures way of apologizing for yesterday.

Apology accepted. It was a nice touch.

Amazing Doc 5-6 miles and from winter wonderland to dusting. Imagine what the people near the Great Lakes experience. We still have to plan that one of these years.

Me too, but their wind forecasts can and often are way out of wack, I looked at SR 925mb winds, nothing really except over the water as the system intenisifies into Maine, if anyone knows otherwise they can chime in.

Well JMan while it got a little breezy here never got anything like the winds Accuweather was talking about. Out of whack indeed.

As we wind down December, my total precip of snow and rain was 6.51"
4.4" of snow, 2.11" of rain. Average for Newark for December is 3.8" so above normal. Good sign to help the drought, and now that we seem to be in a wet pattern, the cold will get here and give us some snow! Happy New Year to all and Happy Birthday Ray!
