Where in the southeast?? If that's true we've had 2 already this season.

I will post this one more time

6-11     SECS
12-23.  MECS
24-35.  HECS
36+.     BECS

Allow me to revise.

6-11 bullcrap
12-23 Godzilla
24-35 Roidzilla
36+ Frankzilla

Agreed, these are the only terms referring to storms that should be used here. I've never seen the bullcrap reference to refer to a 6-11 inch event but you're the boss so we'll go with it.

In order to get this enthusiasm for such a storm as in 1996 Jan 7-8 - the greatest blizzard of my time hands down - I'm sure we can discuss this out but lest do it in the banter thread we NEED this type of NAO block and omega set up

Hate to say but not buying the massive NAO block YET BUT love the look of the EPO ridge over AK to pump and drive teh cross polar flow into the east and the ridge over the West Coast Positive PNA to bring teh storms up the coast and the trough in the East with the bridge over the top extending from the great Pacific into the North Atlantic - the horseshoe effect.
