Impressive chill for July. 65* with rain. Coolest I've had since a 62 degree morning in June but that was with sunshine. Most times its hard to get lows below the upper 60s in urban areas in July, we could stay in the 60s for a good portion of the day today.

This weather is boring as shhhhhhh.  There is nothing to really analyze.  One thing that has been a little intruiging has been the SOI having been quite positive, La Nina Like since late June.  From the looks of the MSLP anomaly forecasts for the next 3-5d it should remain positive with a possible negative burst in the 6-8day time frame, but then back to positive. The LR can change however. We shall see.  But by and large I don't see any major signs of the SOI becoming consistently neg any time soon.
