YEAH BABY, congrats to Seth Lugo, Gsellman and Svorzak for stopping the Baby Bombers.Ya gotta love baseball, the guy the Yanks canned, Frazier, comes back to bite them in the arse,LOL.We beat their best pitcher too, Severino.Heard Boone pissing and moaning about the DH because Tanaka injured his hammies.Well, Boone, that;s how real baseball is played in the NL WITHOUT that idiotic DH!

I never like bringing in aging superstars on the decline. This is Smth's big chance. It's being handed to him on a silver platter.

This is just shameful and disgusting, we are almost in last place. So much for the "entirely new medical and training staff".Throw da bums out, just as many injuries as prior years. This new manager is piss poor as well.Hope DeGrom and Syndegaard are traded to teams that are in pennant races for a bunch of young new talent.Alderson has depleted our farm club and we have a bunch of aging guys that can't hit worth a damn!It was more fun in the 1960's , at least they had Casey Stengel as the manager who provided a lot of comedy relief.

I was at the game Wednesday night when Familia imploded, at least we had fun for 8 innings. Wheeler pitched really well. Mickey needs to set a lineup and not change it. These poor kids never can get in a rhythm and never know where they are going to be in the lineup, if at all. Forget all the analytics crap, these kids learned how to hit lefties and righties, stop with the micromanaging... ok, rant over!

I'll never forgive Alderson for firing Wally Bachmann at Las Vegas Triple A.He did an amazing job there and deserved a shot at managing the Mets.I'd take Wally over this egghead Calloway in a flash. We are headed for a five year rebuilding period. We need to tre build the Farm System and get rid of these aging injury prone players like glass legs Cespedes and Bruce.I'd trade De Grom and Syndegaard for a bunch of good rookies. Those two pitchers deserve a shot at a World Series Ring, they have pitched their guts out for us for crap records.Red Sox Suck and the Yanks in the AL are a good fit.

Just read Syndegaard on DL for hand, foot and mouth disease,LMFAO.This has to be some kind of sick curse this team has.Frazier, Bruce,dArnaud on DL.Glass legs Cespedes day to day and now needs foot surgery.Dead last place now. That game with the Yanks was winnable if they had good middle and late relief. Of course, they just traded Familia and got nothing in return, a couple of "prospects".Good job Alderson!!!! Happy to have won one game with the Yanks in this series anyway.

As miserable as this season has been, there have been a few bright spots, this being one of them!

Great to see all those runs scored.Agree with you Janet about the Phillies but I do have to tip my cap to them. They have built a nice team and are in the running for a playoff spot.

Too bad about Nimmo, he was really starting to click.Very happy about Rosario getting a better hitting average. He's an above average fielder too.I'm going to enjoy the next 6 weeks watching us be spoilers.

Doc, was at Fenway with 1629 Mets fans in right field stands, so fun despite the loss.

LMAO, gives new meaning to the term enemy of my enemy is my friend.Sewald is really bad 0-6 with a 6.15 ERA.Don't know why Calloway keeps using him.We were leading 3 -1 when he put Sewald in.Looking at the standings, it's clear to see the AL has the powerhouse teams with a lot more wins than any NL club.AL looks locked up now when you look at wild card stats.NL has some good races fighting for the wild card positions.

I'm glad Davey Wright is going to retire.Hope the team gives him a job as maybe a third base coach or hitting instructor.Mr Met if there ever was one.

DeGrom is a lock for the CY Young. Awesome game tonight, 1000th K, 10th win, so happy to be there! Still good ball to be played despite their record, McNeil will be our new regular 2nd baseman with the spectacular range he has. Outstanding play again today. Anyone want to go with me tomorrow? I got tix for every game this homestand and my daughter can't go.... LGM!

A great night for the Captain, a fine young Man and an amazing baseball player.Hope we continue to see Davey as a third base coach, hitting instructor or whatever the organization can have him do.And, yes, Janet, an emotional night for sure.I loved seeing him and Jose anchor that part of the infield again like so many games they did.
