If the bands can merge Arctic front with the LP which is possible then we can see more lift and greater totals - I think this is true for a swath from EPA, NWNJ (to say Western Passaic County through the LHV, HV into CT.

You know I love you so take this as constructive criticism, but I get the feeling if you won the lottery you'd be depressed about all of the taxes you'd have to pay.

As I stated earlier I'm not ready to buy these sharp cutoffs for NYC and LI andnow parts of NNJ but take it for what it's worth.

I also have to mention that yesterday and the day before a few people kept mentioning how Red Sox Suck, was going to be crushed by this storm. This map again shows never assume fantasy maps are what's going to happen to a certain area today's map shows crushed as 0 inches of snow.

Always look at final results, not what's predicted to be, it almost never verifies.

I agree with you CP, too much of an abrupt cutoff. When I lived in Mahwah, maybe 25 miles south of here, when you guys in the HV got 6 to 8, often the total was halved in Mahwah, not 0 as shown in this map.

28 degrees, light snow increasing in intensity, ground coated again.

Winter Storm warning just issued for Orange and Putnam Counties, 5-7 inches expected so barely warning criteria (6 inch minimum).

The warning doesn't mean anything to me, lets see what the ruler says at noon tomorrow.

I throw in the towel. Doesn’t feel like snow out here. Temps up near 40. The sky doesn’t look right. We’re gonna rain. I say rain even into ne NJ and coastal CT with on,y accumulations once you get into central westfhester on north or west and north of 287 in Jerse. Doc and CP deserve this one. I think my dad goes a solid 6-8” in Ulster County. Good luck all.

GOOD, jim!!! I was wondering when we would get WSW, we were sandwiched beyween NW NJ and areas further North that had them.As CP says, looks nice on paper, but Mother Nature can be a cruel Mistress with these snowstorms in the tri state area, lol.Still, I'm glad to be up in the HV for this one!!!

Light snow on and off the last hour.Had a good burst but quiet again.
