Hey Doc and anyone else.   I apologize for the wording of my post this am.  It was a knee jerk reaction to comments, that really weren't horrible, by multiple people; not just an individual, that may have been headed down the "this storm is over" direction.  I def did not mean to offend anyone at all.

I for one am deeply offended. Triggered actually!  This forum is supposed to be a safe space where we tolerate all opinions. I now based on Scott’s comments feel threatened and very emotional. If you ageee with me I will be contacting ANTIFA and we will be in WadingvRiver this evening. The plan is to march in force until we find a veterinary practice where we will riot and loot. I hope to also find some weird animal medications during my looting that I can use on my patients at OTI

I think there is a well documented carveout for encouraging the advancement of warmth and purposeful actions to exclude the fall of snow in the wintertime. I am confident that relevant caselaw can be found in the NJStrong Court register archives.

Spring will arrive Wed with no snow whatsoever.  Trees will start to bloom in a few weeks.  What was a below snow season here in Central NJ now let's open the windows and breath the fresh air.

This storm coming folks and it's a biggie.  Don't be fooled by today's temps and lull in atmosphere.  When this storm hits it's gonna throw snow rates down 1-2 inch per hour.  Central NJ right in the area where concerns are high!

Well based on how well this prediction was for CNJ on the last storm, it may be time to start relying more on the models

At this juncture, NYC and LI and I would think the NJ Shore are still in the game.NWS has no snow in my forecast in the HV but down by my Mom in Fort Lee, snow is mentioned for Tuesday and Wednesday.Hope somebody gets something out of this with all the time that was put in here in the Long range Thread.Meanwhile, longer days and March sun wreaking havoc on the snowpack in town.Seeing areas of grassy surface now.

LOL, I have nothing to add to the current storm thread as I still struggle with model interpretation.Better to leave that to the experts here and make my comments on this thread.Anyhoo, I hope you and the NJ Shore, J Man and Al get a good snowstorm.I think we up here at this point, are on the Northern fringe.

So true Doc, I went out this morning and it still has the mid winter look and has the whole month now, loving every minute.

If I can dream and we somehow get a foot out of this will be pushing 50 inches for March. I would think that would be approaching historic figures for the month that you might have to go back to 1888 to beat. Of course no good record here that far back to ever verify. I'll have to check Mohonk they may go back that far.

I really am apprehensive about part 1 or wave 1 whatever you wanna call it. If it gets too amped it may shunt the baroclinic zone too far south OR rob the energy from part two killing the dynamics. I don’t like seeing so much potential for tomorrow

It probably won't verify in these specific areas but whoever is 20 miles outside of that circular 20 to 30 inch crush zone will be weeping real tears when this is over.

The location of the mid level lows are off the coast and STACKED. That is huge. Also, GFS never gets precip rate right with coastal storms. I would not pay too much attention to that. But here is the snow map...Philly CRUSHED

If I know Philly (and having grown up in the city, I do) nothing will be moving in that city at 7 a.m. Thursday if they have 20" of snow.
