Drove to work. Here’s some LI reports. Got coffee talked to a guy from Happague (western Suffolk) said he had 6”. I’m at over 4” in Syosset (eastern Nassau). Got to work in Great Neck (Nassau/queens border) 3”. Snowing at 2” per hour now in all these areas. Going to wind up a nice 6-12” event for all of LI away east from the city. Buddy on his way in from the south shore says no snow on the ground until you get up north of Hembdtrsd Turnoike which splits LI in half from

Coastal Ocean and Monmouth getting some much deserved payback from last week's dry slot fiasco

32 light snow. Measured 1.5” which puts me around 50” for year. Good amount for these parts. Hopefully we’re not done yet.

I can confirm Franks radar. Ripping snow here on western and central LI. Size of the flakes has tripled and it’s stacking up fast

Caught in between two heavier bands here.

Looks heavier in western Orange and just east of the river in Putnam and Dutchess.

30.0 degrees Light snow here, closing in on 4 inches.

32 degrees. Light snow. 1.5" so far, but not expecting too much more. 50" seasonal total to date. Them is good snows in these parts and hopefully a bit more before we're done for the season.

NWS late to the party again. From my own observations they’re too high around the city and boroughs and too low in eastern Nassau. Scott deservedly getting creamedMarch 13th JUST Missed Nor'easter Observations - Page 11 7a461010

Right now it's still only 33 degrees, but the snow has stopped falling, just a flake here and there which might even be from blowing. There's a dusting on cars and grass, but nothing on the sidewalks.

Dreaded subsidence. Someone always gets under it in storms like these. Al and Jon suffered with the last one. Hopefully they will shift overhead for a few hrs.

32 and light to moderate snow. 3 inches so far mostly on colder surfaces. Schools closed for 7th time this year. Teachers usually bitch when school isn't closed, now they are bitching because they will have to give back days. The rest of us just have to go to work no matter what the weather.
