Do you think I will see anything significant overnight? You showed those bands basically hitting the city and no further north.

Actually looks like the bands will rotate into the area, the yellow over western LI is making a b-line for north of NYC.

I’m in the very heavy bands but the snow ironically isn’t super heavy. I’d say moderate. Added an inch since last measurement. Closing in on 6”

We are looking at another’s 8-10” here it’s actually insane outside. The heaviest bands are on top of us and aren’t leaving quick and Frank, off shore bands rolling through as well?

It is ripping here. 11-12 inches so far. 2-3 inch per hour for last 4+ hrs.

smitty- I would say I'm at the 6" mark in Barnegat. Good chance of 8"-9" if it doesn't shut off in the next couple of hours. This all fell around 3:30-4:00 pm

Starting to get into some good rates again! HRRR says 5 or 6 more inches to go. Seems to concur with Mt Holly. Wow if that is true for grand totals. See what happens.

Heavy snow right now
It's quickly piling up here

Yellow banding is coming ashore into the area

I’d much rather get these rates now at night. Powdery snow. Accumulating fast. Temp dropping. Breezy. Rioping

NYC has a great chance of getting 12 inches with the bands rolling through.

That would actually make getting 0 for me today worthwhile.

If I can't have the snow at least set some records in NYC.

They need 9 to get into the top 5 spring storms, I'll even settle for that.

we just got the call for 90 min delay...they want to be conservative...and they could have gone in today as well in hindsight...who knew?
