Re: Banter Thread 5.0
It just doesn’t feel like winter, and hasn’t for some time.
I have a winter nightlight (snow covered fir tree surrounded by woodland animals at the bottom), that I keep in my living room all winter. The past few days I’ve been thinking it looks ridiculous, so I packed it away this morning.
I love candles and this time of year I usually have winter scents burning, but I find myself only burning spring scents for the past week or so.
I don’t think I’ve ever thrown in the towel on winter in my life, but there is a first time for everything, I suppose.

If I am allowed to post this, these are the two that I took yesterday. The Stag Model 2 has some upgrades, like hand guard and buttstock from Magpul. There was a red dot on it but I put that on my 10/22 for now. The FX9 is stock except the Crossfire red dot.

I am so sad and with you..I have in my kitchen sitting area a outdoor snowflake projector that goes up with Xmas decorations and comes down with the St. Patty's Day decorations...but I look at it this way... I thought about putting it away with the VD decorations, but its the only flakes I am going to see...so I sit for a few minutes in the dark every night and enjoy...sad, but true ... on the candle front..I too put my winter scented candles away the other day and replaced with some spring scents as well..lol

Nice, I only own .45 right now from Glock. Looking to build up on that. A place called reloaders in Wayne is a nice range here.

Re: Banter Thread 5.0
Well guys I am ready to thrown in the towel, bring on warm temps and garage sale season : ) I went to my first on saturday and Sunday and cleaned up for my ebay store. On the bad news side the 2nd time to try and break up my kidney stone did NOT work AGAIN!!! So now I am pending a CT scan for the next step which is a invasive procedure called a Ureteroscopy, at least I am assuming th twas the procedure the nurse was eluding too, i had to get off the phone quickly as I was at work. This procedure is not fun and even though looks to be same day there is a longer recovery period and a stent placed which as I understand is quite painful. Ugg it never ends. It would help to at least be warm, heat (warm not too hot, 70s will do) seems to make me feel well.

Wow you know it’s been bad with the February thread being only 6 pages. As a lurker for awhile now, I remember there being at least 6 pages for a clipper type storm.

it's about as a bad of February as you'll ever see in these parts. Not exaggerating that by an means. just waiting to a few days to see if it's unprecedented...

Re: Banter Thread 5.0
Not a move, but I do have to get up there for one of those LE events soon. The tug Hill plateau in NY is only a four hour drive and they average 300-400 inches per season. There's plenty of chances even in a boring winter like this. They have about 150-200 inches now for the season and people up there are complaining about the lack of snow.
