Less confluence. Higher heights. I like this. Big run incoming me thinks.

New H5 circulation should pop over Philly or just north of there in their frame or two. Let’s see.

Agree, but that is admittedly because I’m biased toward my original thoughts right now, at this moment lol so take that as you will lmao

Time frame for south Jersey is as early as 1pm start, but the good stuff won't start until around 3pm. (Ocean county).GreyBeard wrote:What's the ETA on this thing? Radar looks like it is ready to hit south jersey already.

12z NAM at 7pm today. Looks like this storm will start earlier than I thought, and the current observations suggest that too.

All things considered, a 1-8 pm storm with a large thump from 3 pm on, can make for a salvageable event. But only, "all things considered" lol.
Trip update: ALL INDOOR POOLS IN NJ HOTELS ARE CLOSED. Major trip inhibitor, as per General Mommy anyways.
We might be making lemonade down here rather than seeking snowier skies, not sure yet though.

While I'm still cheering for you guys, I'd be less than honest if I said I wasn't also getting a little envious.
