Hardly anything here. Down the shore and NYS got crushed over the weekend, if we got .25" we're lucky! Beautiful day today, finally able to open the windows and let the wind air out the apartment. Looks like the weekend of the 4th brings back big time heat.

And nothing at all in New Hope...sprinklers on full blast to make up for this sad dry spell...

yesterday the storms were all around us..just some thunder and lighting as a sprinkle..

Holy turn aruond today. the real feel was 107* and today its beautiful and very windy..we hit 38mph a few min ago.

Looks like temps will be up and down for the next several days, but nothing quite as hot as last week. Long-range for the 4th of July looks to be in the upper 80s, which is not too bad for the 4th. Probably means it is in the upper 70s/low 80s for fireworks viewing that evening. Still a week off so nothing written in stone.

Anyone seeing any potential in the severe threat later today and tonight

Intense storm just came thru at 7:31 in pm, heavy winds, torrential rain and Thunder and Lightning, heading east bound, Good Luck !

I heard that eastern NJ had a EDS with 70mph winds and extensive damage, any reports?

Had a pretty heavy round of storms around 7 and then some more later at night. Heavy rain and very gusty winds, although limited thunder.

A boy and his dog( well actually young man..lol)62* this morning cloudy breezy...whipowillow camp ground purling NY...heading to Lake George supposed to rain all day..so a good relax day..heard tropical storm Beryl formed.

Phil, the weekend did bring rains.

The area is now under enhanced for severe t-storms high winds main threat but a tornado cannot be ruled out. Watch has been posted, lets see what radar looks like over the afternoon. Enhanced is not completely uncommon for here but normally we see marginal or slight. Atmosphere destabilized faster than expected along with very high dew points and temps already rising well above what was expected. 40 kts of shear is also not good if u don't want straight line winds or tornadoes. Which we don't.

Check tropics section Cat 3 120mph Beryl! Islands do not have much time and are go get pummeled. Luckily its a very tiny storm so that may help limit the wind damage.

Lots of damage reports in CT and NJ, most in Northern CT. Looks like another small line could be forming over PA, sun is coming out so it will destabilize again. The rain was intense and even going when sun started coming out. No wind issues here, just looked breezy. And very little lightning, I would have though there would have been a lot.

Just had some very heavy rain for a few minutes here and wind but nothing too bad, not much thunder and no lightning that I saw
