I’ve been getting snow holed for the last two hours - all the best precipitation is just to my west and north, and I’m freakin’ Steelers Wheel over here; stuck in the middle (with you)

Just as I posted this I got into better banding, finally. Already stickage. Thank God, I can back away from the ledge…..for now lmao

44* here with a steady, cold rain. Wind chill is 38*. It feels pretty darn cold enough for snow. We'll see what the night holds.

That's Talt's area he's at 1200 feet or near it.
They just bumped my area up to 2 to 4 as well.

Yep winter weather advisory for 2-4 inches in Orange County for places above 500 feet. I'm at 600 feet so I barely make the cut. Hoping for the best but really glad we received a lot of rain. I can't ever remeber saying that in late November.

Well snowing hard at 6:34 in the pm, a wet snow probably 85 percent snow , 15 percent rain mix. Sticking to cars and just starting to lightly stick to grass. Snow measuring stick still reading Zero. Indoor thermostat reads 34 degrees, outdoor mercury thermostat reads 34.5, going with the Mercury thermostat!

Low-level frontogensis is starting to crank, and now we are going to start getting the mid-level vorticity advection and jet support cranking too, and that’s all within the presence of a severely* negatively tilting trough. I’m getting my popcorn ready for this one.

Raining pretty good here in middlesex county and sitting at 40 degrees. I am grateful we are getting some beneficial rain and I hope to see some mood flakes at some point

Not sure I buy this but accuweather is now calling for a change to snow here in the next 115 mins….

33 degrees, actually had to go up on roof and clear snow off satellite disc Tv stopped working. Usually only have to do that after a blizzard,

38* and raining. Wind chill 30*. Steady, sometimes heavy, rain most of the evening. About 1.50” here since last night which is indeed much-needed. Hoping to wake up to some snow falling by daybreak tomorrow.

It's also forecast to stay above freezing up there for the 3-4 days after the storm. I wonder if some of that melt will trickle down into the region and help replenish and rehydrate the surrounding areas?

What no football fans here? The Browns and Steelers have been playing in a snowstorm as we speak in Cleveland. 18-13 Browns on top with 7 minutes left in the game..Steelers just took lead as I am writing this. Need to have Prime video. Score now is 19-18 Steelers on top.

2 inches on cars at 11:27 in pm, 33 degrees, snowing pretty good, sticking to grass and cars, not roads so much. Town truck just came by and put down salt, no plow on truck.
