Congrats NWNJ, NEPA and SNY! Looks like parts of NNJ and NE NJ have a chance to see a changeover to snow too.

2 inches on cars at 11:27 in pm, 33 degrees, snowing pretty good, sticking to grass and cars, not roads so much. Town truck just came by and put down salt, no plow on truck.

Woke up at 3 to the sound of the plow. Highland mills Orange County NY. SE NY Frank, not SW LOL.

31.3 and moderate to heavy snow. Grass and driveway covered, road would be if it weren't for the plow.

Nice job RB. The morning should be interesting.

32 degrees, light snow.Looks like 5 to 6 inches out there.Overperformed in my area and a tip o' the hat to rb, he nailed this days ago while NWS snoozed,LOL.

Hard to say exactly how much there is, but by eye I’d say it’s a solid 8” so far.

Less snow here. Just starting. Slushy and at 33 degrees that is not so surprising. Schools here are on a delay. 6:30 am and the grass "just" got a little snow on it. Roads are still clear as is the driveway. I am a bit surprised Doc and CP are doing so well but up-county it is not.

May my fellow board members get snow!

If we get wind, we are SCREWED lol we already had the power going on and off all night, but this snow is literally like concrete, so any added stress to these trees is…….unwelcome at best aha

Yeah, we are set up pretty well with fuel for the generator already, but I may grab the couple empty cans we have and run down to the local station to make sure we are stocked up.

35.2/31.2 it'll wet bulb to ~34 once heavier rates commence. just a bit of light flurries now. It's just nice to see flakes but I don't expect measurable snow IMBY.

What is your elevation there Damian? We got 3 inches here. Doc was eyeballing the 5 to 6 so I'm not sure if that's accurate for him but maybe it is. He is a little higher in elevation than I am. I'm at 600 feet.

Anyway, a nice beginning to the snow season. I'm sure this will all be gone by the weekend, but the promise of a Thanksgiving storm is something to look forward to.

Had a coating on grassy surfaces at 3:45 this morning, but it's gone now. We did hit a low of 32 overnight, now back up to 36.

Still 33 degrees, 6inches on the cars and 3 inches on the grass. Heavy slush snow, if it snows like this for 3 more days there will still be 6 inches on the cars and 3 inches on the grass, the snow can’t handle its weight. Had to clean off my satellite discs again Tv no work, noticed that the snow is coming out of the south, maybe that’s why it so wet and heavy!

Easily double-digits up here now and ripping in the CCB banding. Dad and I were sitting in the living room watching tv, and then we heard the classic sound of a tree snapping. Boom. We looked at each other and he said “That was close, and didn’t sound good.”

so excited for all of you!! 39* for low holding steady for last 2 hours at 40* had some gusts in the high 20's(28 so far the high) 1.5 inches of rain and it's cloudy with sun trying to come out.

6 inches here measured by me but trained spotter is still asleep so no snow measurements on NWS,LOL.I am 700 feet CP so that could be why there is more here than you and Damian.Don't know his elevation.
