NAM actually looks good for the "real" storm. That area of overrunning was just noise

The no weekend rule has been in effect by Mother Nature this winter
Yes as well as no holiday except for Xmas eve night but that was a squall not quite a storm level!

New Years, MLK and Presidents' Day -what is next ST pat's , Easter , ides of march, Yankee opening day, 1 st day of spring?

Warning to all now: I'm predicting a south trend on the models tonight. But as has been the case this winter, shift north last minute. Probably Friday night or Saturday morning.

A small south trend on GFS shouldnt hurt me much.  But as you said it will probably be temporary.

I mean if i really want to be picky, maybe some cooler 850s and surface temps to help with ratios. I still expect a uptick in QPF.

Since when have we cared what the NAM predicts 84 hours out?

If the OZ GFS and EUro drops the heavy snow in WDC tonight then I'll be concerned.

hey mugs yes i agree, snow totals seem to light for such long duration but like i said before i think ratios will be higher than 10:1, its gonna be cold and snow will be heavy at least at times.

Not sure what the situation with DPW is here in Yonkers, all I know is the potholes are hell, not repaird and last snow there were barely any plows on side roads.
