Hey Guys just got home from work.  Unbelievable morning.  I was working in Centereach today where I measured 4.5 inches!!!  Im not sure what I got at home in Wading River. Everything is almost melted already.  It looks like less than that, but I bet it was at least a couple of inches.  Amazing.  I knew it was going to change over but had no idea it was going to lay down advisory level snows.

At Citifield, wind was whipping and it was cold until the sun came out. There were cars pulling into the parking lot with snow on them! The sun came out and I got sunburned! Too bad the game was on the losing end....

Fear not, my good man, I am moving to the HV this fall and will change this climate pattern single handedly back to the old days when the HV and "areas N and W of the City" always got more snow.

Anyway, incredible surprise for the LI folks.Dammit, if only I had gotten that 5 inches I could have jumped into second place for snow totals. Just wasn't meant to be.

Doc and CP - you said it perfectly Doc it wasn't meant to be and even with that we still managed 64" that I measured in Hillsdale - LI and SNJ were the jackpot zones for almost each storm - moderate to big ones this winter. What an abnormal winter from that metrological perspective IMO.

Anyway measure 3.03" of rainfall - I dream of that being snow one day in Jan or Feb!!!
