How's everyone's summer going?

Also, do you like the new forum layout? Easier on the eyes, in my opinion.

I LIKE it! Good job! Summer is flying by....just got back from 2 weeks on the west coast and can't believe it's almost August....how is your summer job going Frank? Are you going into your senior year at RU now?

Yes, I'll be graduating in December. I'm currently interning full time at Wakefern, basically Shoprite's corporate. I study Supply Chain Management (procurement, logistics, and warehousing) so it's all in the field. I enjoy it. My last day of interning is the 22nd of Aug.

How was the west coast? It's beautiful out there. Especially Cali

West coast was great, went to San Fran and then drove north, stopped in Oregon and then Seattle. Of course, they have been very warm, complaining it was hot when it was only 85*! haha! So much for the cool and damp NW!

That brought to mind a very funny incident from 1974 when I visited my Uncle who was Yardmaster of the Jersey Central railroad Elizabethport yard.They had lost two boxcars from Wakefern Food and he was cursing and screaming at his crew that day for not being able to locate them.The Wakefern people were having Canaries,LOL!

Skins fan, was that show not epic! Trent Reznor has not lost his touch one bit at 50 nor has Soundgarden. I thought the acoustics were pretty bad for that terrible opening group and Soundgarden was way to distorted. I was in section 300 right above the walk around, great seats! Al though we didnt sit for one second lol.

This is just horrible.He was incredibly talented and gave the world the gift of laughter which it sorely needs. He was my age.I will miss him.

This is the time of year that kind of sucks. The weather is not as exciting (especially with the way this tropical season has gone), school starts again, Yankees continue to look like crap, and all these premature winter outlooks get released.
