My 1st Call Snow Map March 6th-7th Storm & EPAWA 2nd Call Snow Map
A final call will be released tomorrow night. EURO has trended north but I seriously think it has been lost with this storm since the get-go. JMA is a huge hit for the area. I have a feeling amounts will be increased tomorrow night, but this will do for now.
EPAWA...

In my 2nd call map, if things still look as they do, expect the 6-12 to be extended more into the HV. I may also add in a 3-6 or 4-8 just north of the city into northeast NJ. But those are preliminary thoughts.

I'll sign for this map right now Frank. I'm in the 6-12, probably closer to 6 or 7 since I'm on the edge, but two days ago I just about gave up.
It still worrys me because the Euro has been so accurate the last 2 months and it is still at odds with the GFS and other models. But I've been thinking since yesterday the Euro may have it wrong this time. That would be amusing since most of the pros have been going with Euro this storm and ignoring the GFS.
Tonight 00z's will be big.

Upton is no longer siding with the EURO. They are going with the GFS/SREFS/GEFS

Hey althought I have not been around much bc I am dealing with health and family issues, I have been paying attention to the weather. The Euro has been lost with the storm. I dont blame upton for ignoring it at this point. It hard for me to ever side with the NCEP models bc they are pretty awful a lot of the time, but in this case, Im going with a gfs/SERF/Euro Ensembles blend. I feel even though the Euro has been lost, you cannot discount it this close in. The NAM is terrible and should be autotossed. It does show a heck of a storm for us tho and not to far off what the gfs and most amped up members of the serfs show. Franks map is a good/safe call for now. Numbers could go up once there is a better consensus.
