I would say I have about 4.5 on the ground maybe a little bit more. but it is already hard to tell with the winds blowing out there!!

LP is still prett far south. As it moves up a little further the winds should really get going and the cold will arive

I'm on the north side of that band. 4.5 inches here in Syosset. Winds really starting to crank and after a lull snow coming down hard now.

Can we assume anything based on current location of banding that the more significant bands will stay east over the island rather than northern NJ or NYC? Or not?
