Your right you do have to keep up on things. I have to admit being a member of this forum is great. Frank, Sroc, Ace and many others who forecast here do a GREAT job and dedicate a lot of there time to giving us an accurate forecast. I always feel like I know what's going to happen before the pro Mets talk about on tv or the radio.

"Was driving all night until about 20 mins ago to spite them, about an inch on roads, unlike 4"+ on roads last year during 2/14 when there was no BS state of emergency driving ban and insane snowfall rates during the day and i had to go to work and almost get stuck. Maybe this is drunken irrelevant babbling but im pissed."
I agree I got awd and can drive. Besides still haven't heard anything and they cant keep me from work.

Frank, Mugsy, Doc I wish you guys were in on this especially the guys who do all the hard work answering questions and forecasting. I have an epic buzz right now so forgive any mispellings. At least 8 inches here. Heaviest snow of the night. House shaking in the wind. Radar looks impressive! I think I'll get another foot by 7 or 8 am and get to 20. anything after that is a bonus. Wifes asleep, so are the kids. Backyard spotlight is on so I can watch from my position on the couch in front of the Wood burning stove while watching a hot copy of American Sniper.

How long should it snow tomorrow and with what intensity?

You are a good man for thinking that, but it's your turn on the Island with Doc and Syo to enjoy this.I had a 9 inch November snow and 7 inches last week, so Mother Nature is making things even.I am experiencing it by reading the posts of the folks getting hammered.

Into early afternoon. Moderate to heavy. Will depend on the bands, but once H5 closes, you may see snow rates around 3 inches an hour

Totally agree with you on that these guys are dedicated and informed. I come on just to follow the forecasts mostly.Seems there are some not so happy campers on here tonight, but it's all a crapshoot really. You get what you get. Hope you weren't too disappointed, but there will be many more to come.
