My guess for the low temp. tonight in CPK is 6*

i am noting like most others on here that all variables with the weather have been handled by the models terribly. I do not recall last year being like this at all when I got more into looking at in depth maps etc.

12* feel is -7 22 mph gusts 36. it was very rough walking my dog i had to stop and bring him back in after almost 10 mins, any part exposed will get killed. i tapped out

At this rate -10 is a lock, maybe lower.

I cant remember single digits so early in the evening at my location.
LGA is 12* and CPK 16*, I was 16* not that long ago that cold air is coming south through NYC right now

CPK now 11.

Will have to watch and see. If winds don't die down completely they may have an outside shot at 0.

I still say 3-4 will be the number.

Like you said in these scenario temps always seem to stay steady by midnight, even rise slightly. Winds are forecast to stay 20mph+ most the night and never drop below 15mph so theres a shot at getting down near 0. Wind forecast i always take with a grain of salt though.

This is getting interesting. If these winds keep up and continue to negate some of the heat Island effect they may stay close to nearby suburbs readings and may hit 0 yet.

0.1 here, -10 will be childs play, -15 within reach.

JFK has already tied their record low of 9* Probably broken by the time i click send. I think CPK's 1* and LGA 2* are in play. I'm down to 6*

3* here, I think that's the coldest it's been here this winter (and maybe even last winter, don't remember). I'll easily get to at least -10* I think. Still quickly dropping.

Your right on all Dtone. CPK record for today is -8, we know that records safe.

It looks like they have a shot at tomorrow mornings 1. It's been a long time since they've set a daily record low in winter.

No way snow, NYC got down to 4 last winter you had to do better than 3.
