Me too, Jim, I think that one has the makings of a Hudson Valley Special as CP is fond of saying.Got my eye on that one.So far NWS has us all snow. When they mix down there S and E we do best with the colder air and all snow.

What qualifies as "north" "central" or "southern" NJ is an explosive topic in this State. lol. But that said, my rule of thumb is that north of I-78 is North Jersey. Roughly I-195 (maybe even about 5-10 miles south of there) to I-78 is central Jersey. And south of I-195 is South Jersey. By that standard, Jackson is just about central Jersey, flirting with South Jersey. Some may disagree with that breakdown.

Thanks Skins....been here for three months and it looks like 30-50 miles within 195 is the R/S line battle ground almost every system so far.

Hector posts and everything turns against us. Expect Saturday night to be dry or rainy and mild. Wednesday Miller A to hit Portugal. A depressing map morning. I hope things will change but I'm taking a break today. I'm not cut out for this.

lol! lol! lol!

Yeah, but you woke up and it's therefor a good day.

I never was expecting a big blast up here with this Miller B crap that are mostly minor events here (clippers suddenly bombing out). They favor LI and NE.

Guess I'll have to check the NWS to see those WSW in Portugal,CP.

Hang in there , Buddy, still a shot at 2 to 4 according to NWS and our mentor and Guru Frank has us for 3 to 6, no small potatoes there.Next week still alive as well.

CP, to update above, NWS now in line with Frank on the HV, bumped up to 3 to 6.

Also, some models still have the Miller A for next week. One or two took it OTS.Wouldn't mind for them all to be OTS just like the BD Blizzard.

Man, ITS WINTER out there.Doesn't get more wintry than this!!!!

Right, Jim, Mother Nature throws you some mean curve balls but once in a while she grooves a nice fat fastball for you to knock out of the ballpark (BD Miller A). yep, that's the fun.Gotta get through the agony to reach the ecstasy, LOL!

Doc, it's not Saturday night pissing me off, I never expected more than 3-5 for that unless we somehow got placed under the trough buts that's a complete crap shoot, whats pissing me off is the complete 180 on the Wednesday Miller A some of the models have done in 24 hours. A long way off for that one but for some reason I thought that was gonna be the one, maybe it still is but I need a mental health break.

And all this complaining with over 4 feet of snow so far this season, and a foot and a half on the ground. I gotta get a grip.

Don't give up on next week CP.These models dance around a lot. Most importantly, they have a storm in sight for that time frame.

And even if it craps out, we have until the end of March to early April up here in the HV.Remember 2 years ago early march, 15 or 17 inches?

Yeah, if we complain with this cold and snowpack we are crying with loaves of bread under our arms,LOL.

Like I said it's not the Saturday night storm that set me off this morning because anything from 1-10 there won't surprise me and it still won't, for some reason and I should know better I locked on that Tuesday night, Wednesday as the storm.

The moral of this story, and let it be an example to all others, never post here until you've had your first cup of coffee.

And yes I checked my records, March two years ago we had 23.8 inches during the month including the 16 from the one storm you mentioned.
