Big shift north on the NAM, low goes off the coast around the NC/VA border instead of the mid SC coast compared to 0z

I honestly have no idea how solutions are still this far east with this setup.

It may workout Jim but no reason to believe it will, at least not until I see something change and I don't mean by the models. I actually have to see it happen, for once.

3 runs peeps - 0Z, 6Z and 12 Z runs are going to be huge for this storm IMO - I see a NW trend incoming - at least I am wishing and praying. Need the euro to remain steadfast and the CMC and gfs (uggh) to jump on board - if we have model mayhem we know what will happen - not really.
Watch the GFS show and be like a stubborn Irish woman and say OTS !!

I agree about the storm but I really question it gets to us. I've been high on this one since last Tuesday but I'm starting to become very skeptical for it by us. Maybe CNJ and LI do ok, I'm less than 50 50 now for HV.

WTS who knows, the way the models waffle this year even 24 hours out they can't ever seem to agree and they all have been wrong at some point this year on close up events. A frustrating year to forecast no doubt.

Even if we do, I wouldn't bet everything I have on it. Strange last minute curves this year..

The models suggest but I will look at the radar when the storm hits.Last night's radar at 9PM told the tale. The low formed off DC and went almost due east.Saw the precip moving that way and knew we were in trouble. The steering winds took it E-SE and then sharply up North so Jim Cantore could do his thundersnow dance,LOL!

Yeah this year has been horrifically AWEFUL for forecasting lmao Oh well, we can't control it, just gotta roll with it. Either way, I see a whole-lotta opportunities up and coming in the next couple weeks at least. We'll see.

CP I am starting to become more like u, I do not know about this at all, its getting like boy who called wolf, granted we were told what would happen last night but still every event or non event we have had has thrown some kind of twist in during. The NAM showd only a few inches gonna have to trend a lot NW to give us anything to write home about.

With so many storms rolling through, you would think at least one of them would produce in a big way for all of us, but time is running out. Very strange.

Jman I still love tracking and all that but now I'll believe it when I actually see it. A weird year indeed but yet I'm already at my seasonal average of 50 inches despite all the curveballs.

Hour 24 precip. shield down south is slightly north, not sure if it matters though.

GFS wasn't that bad, still shows 3-6" for basically the whole area with Jersey Shore and LI closer to the 6" amounts

Not looking at GFS right now but if the other models start trending east then i start to say bring on spring because were running out of time with this great cold air for all snow.
