Was there some northern stream interaction on this run? Doesn't seem like it's further north, just more enhanced precip

When we have a southern stream dominant system with Gulf moisture tracking into an arctic airmass...precip shield will be expansive.

The NAM is worth as much as a Boston Red Socks WS ring. But at least it trended favorably.

Its a Miller A, its precip shield will most likely trend slightly more robust and moisture laden......

That's true, thanks

What's the reason for such a fast storm is it bc no blocking and if so if their a chance that this storm from last night can help slow things up

H7 VVs look good. Should be some nice ratios with this event.

Ace bingo said this earlier as well that the precip shield is more expansive than modelled. Like you said due to the moisture laden system

Would be ironic, and typical of snow-lovers luck this winter, if the storm trends north, gets us heavier precip, but moves so quickly that the totals end up being on the lower side.

Well if the moisture shield is bigger than modeled would that intern mean possibly longer storm in a sense

Of course all you need is 3 or 4 hours of moderate to heavy snow and we'll make out ok.
