Re: February 17th Storm: 1st Call Snow Map and Observations
Looking at the radar it appears the dry air is making its move in from the west and storm may be starting to pull away. I'd bet the snow (except some flurries) ends here in Somerville by 7 am

Just finished cleaning the wifes car off. 2.5" of very nice fluffy snow at 15*. Really nice ratios. Snowing moderate- heavy at the moment but heaviest bands look to be moving out soon. Hopefully will squeak out another 1-2"

As this storm is slowly winding down, I think it should be mentioned that Frank's snow map - first and final unchanged - nailed it.

Light snow here currently. Looking at radar I think it ends in the next hour or two. Somerville probably ends up just about 3".

Re: February 17th Storm: 1st Call Snow Map and Observations
6.2 degrees, looks like light snow coming to an end here, about 1.5 inches from I would guess 0.05 qpf, which was about expected, yealy approaches 4 and a half feet with no storms above a foot yet. I'd like the big snow but it all counts and it's been an excellent last 4 weeks.
Very happy for everyone south of here, looks like they did well. As always the official? CPK measurement should be fascinating.
On to the weekend.

Still snowing here in West Orange. About 2 inches so far. Enough to close schools here which is a big surprise. Thanks all for another great forecast!

Blue collar CP. Like you said it all adds up. Before the weekend, I would like to say that I am pretty sure a few isolated areas (esp eastern/coastal areas) could pick up a quick inch or two in snow squalls from Wed night through Friday a clipper hits the coast.
