Colder air definitely helping out northern people despite lack of heavier stuff, looks like almost an inch already.

About 1" on grass and colder surfaces. Nothing on roads. Can we get a solar eclipse here to help us somehow??

Re: 3/20 Spring Snowstorm Observations / Final Call Snow Map
Hate to say it but I will. Drove home from work. 12 miles due east. Snow dropped in intensity. No white at all on the ground just wet while everything west of me was covered and snowing hard. Then looking at the last few frames of the radar, the heavy snow over northern Jersey is lightening up and moving south of LI into central Jersey. I actually think we'll bust on this one on Long Island. 1" tops.
Bullseye looks to be Trenton to Philly!! No scientific analysis on my part just looking at radar trends.

Been snowing moderately with brief periods of heavy snow for an hour or so. Still heavy band sitting over Eastern Suffolk. 3/4" here. All on non paved surfaces.

Completely wet sidewalks and roads in Midtown. I wonder how much of this awesome heavy stuff actually gets to accumulate here..
