Re: July 2015 Observations & Discussions
if there is on word to describe spring/summer it would be "quiet". actually we haven't had any big storms for awhile now. maybe juno but for only parts of our area. seems like since sandy in 2012 the weather has not been extreme in our neck of the woods. very quiet.
edit: that doesn't mean we have not had lots of rain and snow just nothing worth remembering.

Re: July 2015 Observations & Discussions
Partly cloudy, cool, 61.7 and very humid 93% up here this morning.A round of unsettled weather tonight through Weds night followed by a gorgeous stretch of 60's-low 80's.
It's been a beautiful summer so far up here in the HV NY. No extended hot and humid stretches.I'm sure the summer has one up it's sleeve there for us late July through August.
Al, after Sandy I hope we don't see extremes for years to come and it stays just like this. For the summer, anyway.

Immmmmmmmm baaaaaaaaaaackkkkkkkkkkkkk lol so, so sorry for the long hiatus, but it started in April with a bunch of interviews, and then I had more in May, ended up getting an offer from FleetWeather, taking it, and have since moved to Fishkill, NY for it. Been busy. I won't be checking in too often but I'll be around now, unlike the previous two months. I hope that all of your 4th celebrations went well, and I definitely missed all of the weather talk!!!

Good luck with the new job! It has been quiet here on the forum, with the exception of a few storms, not much to talk about.

Re: July 2015 Observations & Discussions
Does anyone know what the 19-25th looks like? Looks as if GFS has 21-23rd LP with rain, I am looking for cape cod weather as will be on vacation and am praying the GFS is wrong. CMC too has like 1-3+ inches rain next 10 days, that sux. Temps look to be 70's, I am hoping maybe 80's at least low. Or is it going to be a crap week for the Cape?

Re: July 2015 Observations & Discussions
Wow! What a rain storm...it poured here for a couple of hours.. the garden cart I was using to move stuff off the boat from our vacation..has about an inch and a half of water in it....it got sunny and now the clouds are rolling back in...I am glad we had this after we got home from vacation. We had the best weather we ever had in the 14 years my husband and I have been taking these trips...(Ct was beautiful..especially up the Ct River by Essex)..we had great adventures and very calm waters and only 1 day of really humid weather(July 2nd) and 1 day of rain(Last Thurs) the whole 2.5 weeks...I hope everyone has safe travels home!!

Mt Holly radar is quite a sight atm. That's a strange looking creature moving in all directions at once.

I love the snow but the parking did get unbearable. And the piles of garbage with no where to put it.
Maybe take epic snows but without the persistent cold of last Feb.
