MBA Degree Empty MBA Degree

Post by Frank_Wx Wed Aug 05, 2015 11:38 am

Hi All,

For those who have experience I am looking for advice. Beginning Fall 2016 I would like to start school again to receive my MBA either in Marketing or Finance. I have even contemplated going for a Masters in Meteorology but that is a little frightening considering my undergrad consisted of just business courses. Not even sure I would qualify.

I got my Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management from Rutgers-Newark. I am working full-time so any program I enter needs to have a "flex" or part-time option. Are there good schools in the NJ area I should look into over others? Rutgers is still an option for me since I'm familiar with the campus and it's near home. Also, what do typical MBA programs look for in students to determine acceptance? Work experience? Standardized test scores?

I can get a lot of info online but always enjoy reading others opinions.

Thanks,

Frank

Frank, good for you! Rutgers MBA admission should be easy enough for you to get into since you did your undergrad there. I did my MLS Masters completely online which was great since I had young kids home. FDU used to have a good MBA program, I was taking courses there in the 80's though!
