We are 1 month away from my Winter Outlook. We'll begin seeing noticeable changes this month with our temps. Fall foliage will also get going!

Trees rapidly changing up here.
51 degrees, 93%, 29.98 R.Cloudy, windy raw.Total shift from a few days ago.Looks like the bulk of the rain the next few days misses us.Preliminary landfall of hurricane way south of here.

The next few days it is going to be overcast with temps in the 50's and low 60's. Look for rain to move in Friday afternoon and last until Saturday morning. Not a lot of rain is expected. Probably around 1 inch for most.

Yesterday I had sweat covering my shirt as I tried to teach. The humidity was unbearable. Today there was such an amazing breeze coming through the windows and it was so cool in the room. My kids complained. I told them to transfer out if they didn't like it. God bless the fall!

As much as I like snowstorms in the winter and the beach in the summer, I think for pure comfort and aesthetics Fall is my favorite season. Pleasant days, chilly nights and Fall foliage. But that will have to wait because currently outside my window it is 56 degrees and raining. As Frank said: Gross.

Feels like late November out here on LI. Steady light to moderate rain. 48 degrees. wind N/NE at 20 to 25mph. .33 inches since yesterday afternoon. Gorgeous. 2 months from now we would all be jumping for joy.

Sept 2015 was the warmest on record..by almost a whole degree.
Only a handful of nights that dipped below 60 briefly, to suddenly 40s in late morning now.

Been raining more than models showed I think, solid band not moving much to move out. Freezing out, Im in a sweatshirt in my office and still cold. Bored yep, I was so hoping for some excitement this weekend, oh well I can actually get some stuff done now.

47 degrees ,92% 30.09 R. Only .05 in the bucket.LOL, that NOAA map reminds me of the winter when the folks S and E of me get the big snows!
