Impressive looking storm. Even have snow following over MN where winds are coming out of the north and pulling down cold air. Later today, we'll see this system gradually strengthen and bring heavy rains to our area between 7pm and Midnight.

Most of the rain that falls today before 5pm will be light to moderate. Radar does not look impressive now but it will by late tonight.

Yupp just had about a 45min period of moderate to heavy sleet. Now mostly rain as temps slowly warm.

Jeeze downpour here in Bronx I think we got our total just in past 15 min it's crazy. I just had that 40 to 45 dbz rain move over more to south. Is thete worse to come after that? Wind pretty calm though as frank predicted.
