19 degrees last night.

And so ends one of the most boring Novembers in HV history. Not a flake fell which is pretty rare, we usually at least see a trace and average 2-4 inches for the month.

Right now December looks more boring than November. We shall see, the unknown and the surprises are what keep weather interesting, but so far this pattern, that we've been stuck in for months, is trying my patience.

I don't have the data but this has to be at least one of the top 5 warmest meteorological autumns this region has ever seen. The average for the last 3 month period (Sep-Nov) will be about 4.3 degrees above normal in NYC when the final data comes in tomorrow.

it looks like we will end up #2 on both. Evil or Very Mad Sad
NYC holding on to a narrow lead for the warmest fall and November with 1 day to go. today will ave about 3* below normal which will put us at #2.

cp my belief is that nature balances itself out but not so sure atm. we have been above normal since may. record breaking at that and the lr guidance has us above normal through july 2016.

Probably my last November obs... temps was 36° here at 7:00 pm, now it is up to 42°. Guess no snow this go-round Wink

Didn't set a new record, but Nov 2015 tied the warmest Nov from 2001.
Also 2nd warmest met. Fall.
