01/17/16 "Brush" Storm Observations
The latest NAM outputs an inch or 2 for coastal NJ and LI this afternoon. Post all observations here. No snow map from me, my forecast is in the scroll.

Re: 01/17/16 "Brush" Storm Observations
Models the last 3 days have ticked NW about 10 miles per day. The 12z runs today may try to tick it another 10 miles NW, which would put coastal NJ in moderate bands. If true, 2-3 inches possible.

32* and Cloudy here. Probably will be too far west to see much, if anything, from this but I'll post just in case.

Re: 01/17/16 "Brush" Storm Observations
James to answer your question from the MLK thread, there is a chance, but I think its highly unlikely. I would take a coating to an inch. Unexpected dynamics from an inverted trough setting up are possible here IMO, but will only be known in a now cast setting. Models have hinted at this, albeit weakly, for days, although it will most likely set up a tad too far to our N and/or E if at all.
