@Frank_Wx wrote:It looks like there is decent concensus the IVT snow will be contained to southern PA - DC - SNJ. Maybe as far north as Allentown PA through CNJ. Then a weak coastal in conjunction with the 500-700mb lift will bring widespread snow from NEPA - NNJ - NYC - HV - LI - CT.
Looks to me like everyone wins if it works out this way.
Agreed. However, I looks like coastal and southern sections are going to have issues if this verifies.

Re: February 9th-10th IVT Update
See what happens here. CP creates an excuse to come down and hang out on LI today within 1/4 mile of where I work just to see the snow. Then he goes back home and what happens..........snow showers all day and the very same night a coastal storm pops up on all the models looking like it brings him 6". If you want snow you know where to come to now. The MECCA

Re: February 9th-10th IVT Update
LMFAO!! Too bad our seasonal total to date is about 11 or 12" thus far this season.....not even HALF of where most members are on this board (save the few others that call the mountains home) haha It doesn't help when we have Syo stealing our snow, which I'm glad that he at least finally admitted to

Re: February 9th-10th IVT Update
GEM develops the coastal, but it's too late. It keeps the IVT as the dominant feature. Still gets I-78 and points south pretty well though.....
