April 4th Hudson Valley Snow Event
Another wave of low pressure will sweep across the area tomorrow. Mainly rain in the City with a possible change to snow late, but those North of the City should see mainly snow. I'm thinking 3-6" of snow is a good bet.

Thinking doc, CP, and I are a bit too far south for any accumulation from this, but our members north of I-84 should get a nice snow event finally.

If I get 3 inches it will be the biggest snow of the year up here. Sad but true.

You're 20 miles south of us snow, we received almost 3 inches last night up here and I don't believe you saw much more than an inch down in north/central Rockland. That 20 miles could be significant again tonight, we shall see.

Re: April 4th Hudson Valley Snow Event
Stayed up just long enough to catch some snowflakes. Since I first started following weather almost 18 years ago, this is the eighth time it has snowed in April where I am. The other seven are: 4/9/2000, 4/7/03, 4/5/06, 4/8/07, 4/8/09, 4/1/11, and 4/15-16/14.
Was awake to catch the snow last night that never came but I finally saw some flakes now. Anyway, I have work early in the morning so I need some sleep. Nighty Night!

Re: April 4th Hudson Valley Snow Event
Looks like about a inch here. Nothing sticking to roads and localities wasting a lot of salt. No snow to the south. Time for bed so if we get anymore it will melt by time I wake.

Re: April 4th Hudson Valley Snow Event
28 degrees and very light snow, about one inch accumulation here north of I-84 by a few miles. Schools are closed because they said the northern part of Orange County has significant snow accumulation and I am about as north as you can get but I do not see much. Still it looks as a board member said "photographic" and I say pretty.

Re: April 4th Hudson Valley Snow Event
Got 2.5 inches overnight and early this morning. Most schools closed. Stopped about 9AM and now just cloudy and 31*. Expect just some scattered rain/snow showers for the rest of day with little additional accums. Picked up 4.5 inches this weekend so that makes April snowiest month this winter, uh, spring, whatever.
