5th NJ Strong Get Together - Sunday, June 12th

Hello members, 

We're planning a get together at Mustang Harrys in NYC on Sunday, June 12th. Time will be around 3pm. It's close to Penn Station and we had a good time last we were there. Lots of TVs to watch a possible baseball game. 

We'll talk about my summer outlook which I already released and a bit about the hurricane season. MAYBE touch on winter? Sure, why not.

In the thread title, you have Sunday June 12th. In the description, you have Sunday June 14th. June 14th was a Sunday last year when we had our meetup on the Jersey Shore. The 12th is a Sunday. Anyway, I should be able to make it barring any emergency.

I think I will be able to make this. I have my son's hockey game at 630 so I am good unless sumtin' changes.

Would be great if we could set-up a NJ shore meet-up. NYC is a bit inconvenient for me. Not sure if I'll be able to make this one, but I would like to meet the people on here.

Would like to meet you too Tom, maybe we can do one late in the season down the shore for the winter outlook.

Tom you missed the Jersey Shore meet up last summer! But I'm open for another meet up this fall as we speculate the upcoming winter.

@ Frank - ZNo #1 thank you for doing an endeavour not many would have taken on at a ripe young age and for your continued meteorological knowledge and professionalism. Two for setting up these socials - wish we could this every other month OR for the seasons. BUT I take this as a HUGE compliment and thank you for the kind words I have learned a lot from you and many others - the teacher/educator in me.

@ Tom - hey kid (which I think yuo are to me) maybe when I am at the shore this summer at my sisters in Belmar we can do an impromptu weather meeting

Yeah, I'd definitely be interested in another NJ shore meet-up.

Mugs - will probably be down in that area this summer quite a bit; would certainly be interested.

Same here. Maybe September would be a nicer time as all the tourist "shoobies" are usually gone, and the weather's typically the best of the year (cooling temps/lowering humidity but still beautiful).

^^^^^Come on Tom all of us BENNYS will be gone and so will our smell!!
But yes late Sept would be nice especially since August is going to be hot through early Sept. Maybe we van a track a possible hcane then?? That would be nuts be possible.

Would love to go but we are leaving that day on a cruise to Bermuda.Have fun everybody.Will try and make the fall one.How about a Bergen County meetup for a change.We've done NYC and the Shore but never Bergen County.I might be able to get CP to come,LOL!

Mugs, that Kinchley's wing-ding sounds GREAT.I miss them, I lived a mile away in Mahwah and for 35 years ordered pizza from them.Its the best in Bergen County.We can get Dunz and some of the North Folk!!!

It's great to meet down the shore when the summer is over when it is not crowded, but Ryan will be back at school
