Gorgeous day again today. Wow so many Graduation parties perfect weather.
Now for the future, the up well g along the coast is impressive and with a s to se wind the next few days as progeny will keep temps lower especially with in 15-20 m8les of the coast and a very pleasant seas breeze will be felt.

If we stay in this regime which it seems to be fir the next 10 days then we see a few days above normal a few rain chances and a few normal pleasant days like today. Not seeing heat in this late at run of models.

Gfs has a trop cyclone at its end slamming into New Orleans.

12K NAM for Thursday peeps - Yikkes if it happens!! I have not looked into this other than reading these maps.

I welcome any rain but the Globals have almost nothing for Thursday. I do think they're a bit underdone. A blend between the Globals and NAM is a good bet, which means at least half an inch of rain possible Thursday.

Bad thunder and lightning right now in Stillwater NJ, severe storm!

Some rain about to move in. Looks mostly unimpressive. Most uncomfortable night so far temps stayed in the 80s all night. 80* now.

We got a few drops here but looking at the radar the storm went "poof" - gone.

Just a few drops, it fell apart by the time it got here.

It looked like that line romped CT, LI and RI, anyone confirm if they had severe storms overnight? Great lakes area under a moderate level 45% for severe weather that's pretty bad if SPC is right. Not that effects us just a observation.

Today starts the slow progress of losing daylight. I believe today is a few seconds shorter than yesterday. In about a month we will start to notice the diminishing daylight. On a side note it looks like la nina is beginning to kick in with all the subsurface cool water. drastic drops the last 2 days. Still enso neutral on June 21st which means la nina won't be in effect until sometime late September at the earliest. To be classified a La Nina region 3.4 needs to be less than -.5 for three consecutive months if I'm not mistaken.

Getting good hear now in point pleasant severe thunderstorm warning. Cape May county has reports off many uprooted trees and a report of 80mph wind gust. Barnegat nj had golf ball size hail earlier

Hey everyone ! I hope your all having a nice Summer. I know one thing the weather at this time of year is SO BORING ! You can tell because there's only two registered members on here right now. I have a question about tomorrows rain event. When is it suppose to start and how much rain are we expecting and when will it end ? Thanks ! Suppose to have a garden window installed, but I think it's going to have to be postponed.
