Holy crap, I am gonna have to try to get down there to see that, may never see that again! But probably not a good idea, nor would they probably allow me onto the beaches. I remember when I was in Bermuda and I cannot recall what hurricane it was but we snuck onto the beach when it closed (hurricane was a cat 3+ I think, and the waves were incredible even inside the reef, outside looked scary. If was only after I tried to go into one and almost got sucked out to sea that I ran back to the resort, I am smarter than that now, I was about 13. It was my cousins fault lol

your posting so much might as well do your blog, I am dying to know your rain and wind forecast for my area, though as models seem now it won't be crazy unless its closer to the coast. But then again I can see why you wanna wait on 00z runs, especially with that 250 setup you posted and ya wow, could def pull Hermine back.

I dunno just compared 18z sgetti with 00z and it looks like 00z majority are a bit further S & E, but a few more do recurve back toward coast on 00z. Still a lot of uncertainty. Does this frustrate anyone else lol

Any bands that get into the Jersey Shore and LI are likely to contain enhanced rainfall. Very moist atmosphere PWAT + tropical rain / convection = flooding

On second look it does look like more members are S&E, but there are more members that are west too. In other words, toss.

"S&E" hey mugsy, where have we heard that before! Lol Better not be a sign of things to come! In this case I hope it is more south and east, the shore doesn't need more grief.....it's so quiet here now, can't imagine what it is going to be like this weekend

Jake, Ocean County is in a TS watch, going to be tough if you are near the coast. What town?

You will probably see a lot of rain, but you are far enough away from the coast to get the worst of the winds. Was at the Blueclaws game last week, down here on vaca.
