Re: February 2017 Pattern Change - Video Part 2
Great update Frank. I just made a post about my continued interest in potential follow-up w2. I think the potential for -NAO/AO mid Feb onward is increasing. My only disagreement is I don't expect feb 1-15 to be significantly or modestly below normal. I'd lean near to slightly below normal, with increasing cold by mid month relative to normal. I also believe the higher risk for a big event is following the potential w2 strat disruption in mid+ feb.

Thanks Joanne.
Tom, thank you. We've been largely in sync this winter. I stated in the LR thread I expect 1st half of February to finish around -1. Not too cold.

Great video frank. You and Tom have done very well with recent updates and calling of the pattern. Think we're all just about on the same page. Best potential yet for snow production with respect to intensity. Will be interesting to see how much of a reversal can happen with the SPV. Euro today did show a split followed by a wave 2. The indication makes sense given the tropical forcing that'll errupt in early Feb. Cheers!

Glad changes are coming, otherwise OTI Sanitarium would be overflowing! I'll be happy with normal temps at this point, good to see we may be colder.
