Heard someone say that the warmer it gets today the stronger the storm will be...

Guys I Think I Know Better But.............it's so damn warm out I am concerned. I just went out to lunch at my parents house. It is downright gorgeous out. How can we drop 30 degrees in 12 hours and if we do how the hell will it stick. I know better I think, but something just doesn't seem right/believable..

my concern the entire time
spring day to a foot plus of snow in places..i just hope the models are taking this into consideration and the ground doesn't eat it up

Its fine
Coastal NJ ENJ and through LI MAy I say MAY be up for BW if we get SIR EURO ON BOARD!
Thanks Mugs. I'm thinking I'm going to keep my expectations in a 4-6" range for down here in Ocean County. Seems like we need a longer duration, a quicker change over, and heavier QPF and ratios to really score big. We can probably count on that 8 am - 12 noon range for a big score of accumulating snow, but before and after figure to be a now cast. OK, good enough for me! Sure beats the 3 day super soaker we were looking at a few days back!
And at least we don't have to sweat any back-end rain. That stuff is the WORST: "Look kids! I hope you weren't planning on playing in that snow at all...now let's watch all that white gold unceremoniously melt away!"

61 by me. Its warm. No jacket. If I had a snowblower, I would be outside gassing it up. But since since I was not, it's just nice outside. defies common sense

I just read this on a fb page I belong to, is this true:
But whenever the map shows "z" subtract 5 hours to equal east coast time. If a map is valid for 12z then it's valid for 7:00am here.

Re: February 9th Godzilla: Fast & Furious Storm
Hmmm, still going strong a 4 p.m. tomorrow? That would explain ever increasing totals. This eerily reminds me of how the forecast of the blizzard progressed last year. From not much a couple days out, to blinding snow measured in feet that morning.
