This is the perfect type of storm for me: all models in agreement for a big snow, so not much anxiety about it "missing" or changing to rain; starting after midnight but before dawn, early enough to close schools and offices; cranking up right after sunrise so I can watch it out my window and track it on here with a cup of coffee.

Gee, gonna be rather hard to see if anyone plans to travel at 7am and on. 0.2 miles for all areas. probably less in heaviest, but thats like maybe 2 city blocks at most.

Hmmm...I'm starting to get nervous here down the Shore. According to the latest runs and projections, it looks like we have real temperature issues to contend with. Anyone have words of encouragement, or we are kind of settling into a 4-6" range in Ocean County?
Sorry for being negative...and Mothra is a lot better than a dusting...but we want Godzilla+ down here too!

Jim, I love your weather weenie avatar. And Frank, I see you have switched yours a bit back for Godzilla-great. Last comment is about beer as I read some posts about this. I too like the IPA, and other pale ales. They are robust and not heavy and they go down easy. I can manage two and that is fine with me. I like those beers being named in posts. Where can I get those?

I think I have a part of ocean county in the 4 to 8 on my map. Unfortunately, I can see how the 4-8 should be extended to encompass most of SNJ. The low is taking a track tugged into the coast, and with cold air not in place, you may lose valuable qpf in the form of rain. But there will be a sharp cut off. Hard to say.
