Okay now that the clipper and front are through here the dam is now over run and here comes the arctic air. Teens and single digits with winds 30 to 35 pmh gusts. Winds chill below zero. Wintwr is back and for a nice stretch.
Highs only in 20 to low 30's if that the next couple of days.

Very high winds today car shaking around. this cold is when I can do without gusts 40 to 50mph why is theRe no wind advisory when special wx statement says gust 45 to 50mph. Love nws

Cold air locked and loaded and ready to roll! Amazing winter times at NJ Strong, this monster, cold air afterwards and ANOTHER snow chance next weekend!! Gonna have to regrade the winter Frank if this all pans out.Think we better wait next year for grading winter at least until March 21,lol.

10* no wind here either. But I guess with all the excitement about this storm it didn't even feel that cold when I went out to feed the birds and squirrels. I can hardly wait until tomorrow night ! WOOOOOO WHOOOO !!!!

Wind has kicked up again here. Luckily I think the sleet covering my soft snow is preventing any blowing/drifting. 28* but feels colder.

besides today's epic storm for some and fail for others, this march could also be remembered for finally breaking the extremely long streak of above normal months. the next 7 days are all below normal to well below normal and if guidance is right another cold blast around day 9 or so. maybe we can start a streak of below normal months thou I doubt it.

I think N&W of NYC could see some light accumulation on Saturday. Looks too warm for everyone else. Likely rain showers. I will actually be in Dallas, TX this weekend. Leave Friday and come back Monday. Do not expect many updates from me.
