Grade Winter 2016-2017

B here in NWNJ.
Great winter. Just had a 20" storm.
Above normal snow as well.
For my first year.. it has been fantastic. I was told it doesn't snow in NWNJ anymore, haha.

I have to give it a B now considering the 23.5 inches I have received in March with possibly more on the way. The only month of the winter that will probably be below normal too.

haven't given a grade to this winter yet but one thing on the positive side is that we had storms to track every month including November for n/w areas. that has not been the case the last several years and rarely is. this will highly influence my grade when we end this month.

Al I said this a while ago, I have had white gold on the ground from some storm each month Nov through March. Nitb95-96 style at all but pretty impressive. Very true to your statement above

Over 30 inches for the winter despite a warm winter

Who's the wise ass that gave one of the top ten warmest winters ever an A. I've had over 70 inches of snow but I'm giving it a C, C+ tops because of the Mid December through February torch.

That person should be banned for a month. Whoever it is please identify yourself and explain your reasoning and the sentence may be suspended.

Mugs I just posted these stats on the weather stats thread. Upon reflection and despite how historically warm this winter was until March I shouldn't really complain.

its hard to believe winter is over and tom is spring already .my grade for this winter will be a c-even though we had not seen that much snow or cold this winter.so far i received about 29 inches of snow for the year :roll
one of the worst winter ever i can remember are 97,98,01,12,those were the winters where we had trace to 9 inches of snow fot the whole winter season and in march 1998 we had 5 days of 80 deg plus i think we had a record high of 87 deg that was on march 29 1998.
