looks like a fun week ahead, Cya nasty fall like weather

Lets see where we end up at the end - Temps go pos by months end and precip stays above avg by 2-3x

Got in yesterday flight had no delays...landing was a little rough and boy it was 40 degrees colder than where we where....brrr. roads coming home were flooded..
we ended up with 2.55 inches of rain...today we at least have sun!!

Happy mother's day to everyone at least today turned out to be a beautiful day even though it's getting cloudy and some showers are moving in but it won't last long

Wall of rain approaching ft lee nj on 24th floor, it is just covering teterboro airport now and approaching quickly !

Wind picking up real good and storm is here, will be in Bronx in about 10 minutes ! Quick moving !

Crazy weather we just had mostly sunny skies with calm winds then out of no where it went from cloudy to Gusty winds to a brief shower now the sun back out

I think mother nature had to much wine lol

A fleeting rainbow in New Hope at 5:15, now full sun and blue skies...

just a tad windy today lol

Wednesday and Thursday temp anomalies from normal...NICE!





And I actually think the dome of High Pressure will protect us from rain this weekend. Early next week could be wet. Temps will be in the 80's beginning today through Friday. Back in the 70's by the weekend.

Very important question ! Can somebody tell me what the wind direction is going to be on the south shore /east end of Long Island sat am-afternoon . One site says east 5-10 another says west 5-10 ... I'm doing a 100 mile bike ride from Babylon to montauk , if it's east 10-15 , I ain't doing it !!

They will start Northeast then change to east by Noon-ish

are these things pretty accurate this far out ? Or can it change as the week progresses ?

LGA set a record at 94*
Central Park 90
Newark 92

91.4* for me high

This is terrible sleeping weather

Morning low of 76* had to put on the AC on

The main reason why we're seeing record temps into the 90's is because of the anomalous trough over the Rockies. The mountains are expected to see 2-3 FEET of snow.



But then blocking develops over Canada and a trough will get trapped into the central and eastern U.S. A return to unsettled and cool conditions looks possible Memorial Weekend.

A record high has already been reach at LaGuardia - 88 degrees so far

Uggh - look sat this for this time period - ebb and flow up and down of the pattern!!

Already up to 94* at least it's not to humid
