I'm seeing reports that remnants of Harvey will be here in NJ for both Saturday and Sunday delivering tropical moisture. Is this realistic? Will it stay south and go more out to sea? Just trying to get the expert opinions from here to see if our end of summer weekend is going to be ruined.

Yes it looks as if Harvey will come up through the lower Mississippi Valley and swig NE into our region Sunday and brIng us rainy conditions, nothing like down south, no trop.moisture to tap. GFS is faster and has it coming in Saturday night and getting out of town by midday Sunday. NHC and eimuro are slower and bring us good rains of 1" range.

Returned from Italy yesterday. Man it got cool here! Was only in the 50s this morning. Looks like remnants of Harvey will bring rain to the area this weekend. Doesn't look like a whole lot. I'll be around more often as we trek closer to winter. I hope you all had an amazing summer Smile
