Did you look at the ensemble H5?????? Not gonna lie, what they depict is an exact analog to all of our big ticket storms - a triple phase (yes, I said triple) and H5 completely and rapidly closing off over approximately Virginia. As I said, if the modeling continues to hold, I expect a solution like what the GEM suite has been very consistent with, which is a track well west of where the EURO suite still has it based on the NH configuration, and I think it might be trying to go to that idea now. Either way, assuming the current depiction continues to remain relatively unchanged, ( big assumption, I know lol) expect the cluster to shift further west with members continuing to increase support. Just my two cents though lol but I do suggest you look at the H5 evolution......I think it's worthy of the "M" word lmao

I didn’t want to say this a week out but it looks very rainy for the coast. Would hammer everyone else.

Re: Long Range Thread 15.0
Anything related to the snow for this Saturday please put in the December thread. We will not start a thread for that event while focus remains on what could be a big storm January 4th.

Major CAVE on the GFS to look like the EURO for the January 4th storm. It almost had a triple phase - which may have produced a Roidzilla for the area.

Look how close she gets

GFS slams New England, but this is the potential if timing comes together right for us.

Re: Long Range Thread 15.0
GFS has a Roidzilla for New England. Trough catches the storm a bit too late for us. This has triple phase potential. Be careful what you wish for though. Often triple phasers are coastal huggers or inland runners. This setup is similar to the superstorm of 93 in some respects.

Re: Long Range Thread 15.0
Frank other than the March 2001 debacle, I don't recall a Miller A ever taking a track like that. If this event were to happen, I would expect the low to take a more conventional up the coast route.

Good, the last place I want to be is in the bullseye 7 days out, that's always the KOD no matter who's in it.
