GREAT CP.I was at Mom's Tuesday night attending to her needs, and was watching Lee G who said snow was reported in the Ctaskills and I figured we would see some in Monroe.
Looking forward to seeing some flurries or snow showers come in with the cold blast.NWS saying Sunday night-Monday morning we may have a period of snow. Here we go!!!!!!!

10-4 ,Roger that Mugsy.Heard the winds starting to howl around 3 AM, that must have been front passage time. Now high winds J Man worthy velocity as I type this.Should knock down the last 25% of leaves remaining.Had .01 of precip last nite, must have been a shower as it is 40 degrees now.Hope to see a flurry or a squall today for my first flakes of the season.CP reported we had some Tuesday night but I was in Fort Lee at my Mom's and missed it,LOL.

Hi all, Matt here. Been lurking for over a year. 32 year old father of 1 and 1 more on the way. Teacher at a high school in Essex County. Lived in Belleville til 5 years ago. Lived in Clifton since 2012. Was always into weather. Remember tracking hurricanes Georges and Rita when I was young. Got 30" imby in 1996 and 26" on Boxing Day in 2010. Mildly self-educated regarding weather but have learned a ton by lurking here and looking forward to finally participating!

@sroc Ha. Common error. My wife’s uncle calls me that to make fun of my child-like taste in alcohol. Maybe I went through a Smirnoff ice stage...maybe I didn’t. If I did I’m NOT sorry.
@nutley yeah! Mom still lives in Belleville and I still work at the pool in Nutley every summer (since 1999).

Hilarious! Hey I wont judge. I went through a Zima phase when I was a kid in the early 1990's taking the LIRR to Yankee and Shea stadium. Yes I said Zima.
Im going to copy and paste this post in the banter thread just to keep this one for Observations and weather discussion etc if anyone else cares to comment.

Years ago, I would work outside doing carts at a grocery store. I worked in many types of weather: I have worked in the extreme heat of July 6th-7th, 2010 and July 22nd-23rd, 2011 when temperatures exceed 100 degrees. I have also worked in windy chilly weather at times, though regarding that, nothing tops February 2015 when just before my evening shift ended, the temperature was 8 degrees Fahrenheit (not counting wind chill). That evening, I had multiple layers on and had a couple of pairs of socks on both feet. Even with a couple of gloves on each hand, my hands would still get cold. As a result, every half hour, I would head to the restroom and place my hands into warm water to avoid frostnip/frostbite concerns.
