CMC looks east too. GFS/CMC just develop the low too far east of Florida, it's always going to be east, unless it develops it earlier and west

CMC is actually a very nice hit for Jersey shore, NYC, and LI. Not really sure how though with the LP so far east

The western side of the precip is more expansive and intense and it makes a curve towards Nw a bit. We can see how close we are to a godzilla or even more.

Re: Potential Mothrazilla January 4th-5th
If we still cant post snow maps please move it for me, CT and LI get it good and this with LP way east, its just a huge storm. and the center of the storm is in that blank zone so that makes zero sense.

Yeah, it's odd. Would like to see if the UKIE is west, then I'd feel better

That is an IVT creating this second precip shield. Def possible. I mentioned it previously.

Then I feel even less confident if it's an IVT. Those are impossible to trust haha

That's in response the negative titling of the PV lobe of energy, while the main low is from the lead energy. That's also why we are seeing these weird looking precip maps; two forcing maxima embedded in a larger region of low- and and upper-level support.

In other words there's just way to much going on for the models to get it right. I wonder if they ever will before Thurs.
